About Mandat
Mandat law firm traces its roots to the year 1975 when Mr. Arnmundur S. Backman, Supreme Court Attorney, began his practice in Reykjavík. He was the sole owner of an extensive firm with several employees until Mr. Ástráđur Haraldsson joined the firm in the beginning of the nineties. A few years later Mr. Björn L. Bergsson joined the firm. The firm has operated as Mandat law firm since 2003. The firm now has six partners. Benedikt Ólafsson, Supreme Court Attorney, cooperates with the firm and runs his practice under its name.
